The UK’s most followed poet returns to #AsiaLitFest
27 September 2019
Joining us for the second event of the Asia House Bagri Foundation Literature Festival 2019, Nikita Gill launched her new book ‘Great Goddesses’, diving into a conversation about how Goddesses are portrayed in mythology. The poet also discussed her experiences as a British Indian poet and her Instagram platform—sharing what it’s like to have half a million followers and the support of celebrities such as Cara Delevigne and Alanis Morissette.
Gill was in conversation with literary journalist Sarah Shaffi, and the event was followed by a lively Q&A session with the audience – as well as a book signing.
This event was held in partnership with Foyles.
