Asia House will host a two-week exhibition entitled Steppe Closer, which carries the notion that Mongolia and Europe are forging closer relations. Several Mongolian artists residing in Mongolia and in Europe (including the UK), as well as by a European artist who has travelled extensively through Mongolia, have been selected to exhibit. They include Nurmaajav Tuvdendorj, Sukhbaatar Davaakhuu, Otgonbayar Tod, Ganbaatar Dagva, Otgonbayar Tsogt, Tuvshin Bazarragchaa, Rene Polak, Batsukh Badamkhand and Batbileg Darjaa, who has recently finished a series of oil-on-canvas paintings and sculptures dedicated to the legendary British rock band Queen.
Open 10.00 – 18.00 from Monday to Friday. It is being presented at Asia House by the Embassy of Mongolia in London. It closes at 3pm on the final day, 3 October.
