Happily Ever After?

A prince met a princess and they looked set to live happily ever after. Then they realised it was 2015, they weren’t quite right and they separately joined Guardian Soulmates. This might be how a fairy tale goes (wrong) today. Or is it?

Asia House invite you to an animated talk on the role of classic stories in 2015. Do they provide messages that represent our present and future or are they throwbacks to days yonder? Can adults enjoy them?

An illustrious panel of storytellers and experts will offer their opinion through pitches to the audience. Professional Indian storytellers Seema Anand and Vayu Naidu will talk through the relevance of classic stories, focusing on those from Asia with Literature Programme Manager at the British Council Bhavit Mehta.

This is the first part of a whole evening dedicated to Asian storytelling for adults. It will be followed by a performance. For more details on that click here. Guests can buy tickets to either or both events. This event is supported by Dishoom, whose award-winning cocktails will be enjoyed throughout the evening.
