August 2017 marks the 70th anniversary of the Partition of India. To remember this critical fraction, join short-story writer, novelist and editor of Kahani: Short Stories by Pakistani Women Aamer Hussein; author of Black Taj Mohini Kent; and author of Where the River Parts Radhika Swarup.
The discussion will be chaired by author and editor Kavita A. Jindal, who is also the co-founder of The Whole Kahani – a collective of British fiction writers of South Asian origin. Jindal is also a poet, a prize-winning short-fiction writer, an essayist and a reviewer. She is the author of Raincheck Renewed, published by Chameleon Press.
