Asia House is looking for invigilators for an exciting and high profile upcoming exhibition, The Garden of Mystery, with artworks by some of Iran’s most prominent contemporary artists, Monir Farmanfarmaian and Y.Z Kami as well as works from emerging artist Taha Afshar. The exhibition runs from 21 November – 1 December, with shifts available on weekdays and one Saturday (25 November) shifts available.

As an art gallery invigilator at Asia House you will be expected to provide a welcoming and informative experience for visitors whilst providing an important role in maintaining security of the art work and safety of all visitors and staff. You will be a reliable, flexible and motivated individual who is dedicated to providing the ultimate visitor experience. As the security of the works is crucial you will need focus with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and customer facing experience are important in relation to this role.

Art Gallery shifts are allocated based on your availability between the hours of 9.45am – 6.15pm and can vary in length from a minimum of 3 hours up to 7 hours or more with breaks. Invigilators are required to be reliable and punctual.

Hourly rate of £9 per hour.
